NTT Technocross Corporation has announced the release of CipherCraft/Mail 8, the latest version of its email mis-sending prevention software, launching on October 31st. The new version introduces an “Automatic BCC Addition” feature designed to reduce internal fraud risks by automatically adding a pre-designated email address to the BCC field under specified conditions. For instance, when an email contains personal information in an attachment, the system can automatically BCC a supervisor, helping prevent intentional data leaks.
CipherCraft/Mail leverages AI-based risk detection and pre-send confirmation screens to help users verify message details before dispatch. The update also adds compatibility with the new Outlook for Windows calendar, displaying a confirmation screen before sending meeting invitations. This lets users check attachments and recipients. It helps reduce accidental leaks of information.
