WingArc1st Inc. and Cybertrust Inc. have agreed to collaborate to promote the widespread adoption of “trust services”, such as e-seals and electronic signatures, in Japan, and to build a digital trust platform that is compatible with the AI era.
This collaboration will ensure the authenticity of various forms and documents generated in commercial transactions through technical assurance, preventing impersonation and tampering, thereby securing the safe data flow that is a prerequisite for AI-based automated analysis and data processing.
The two companies will achieve both legal reliability and operational efficiency in completely paperless inter-company transactions, and contribute to the realization of an advanced data utilization society suited to the AI era by building a trust platform that complies with global standards.

While the digitalization and DX of inter-company transactions are accelerating, the automation of business processes through the use of AI technologies, including generative AI, is progressing rapidly. In today’s world, where AI processes vast amounts of data at high speed and makes autonomous decisions, technically proving the authenticity of data and preventing impersonation and tampering are essential conditions for the safe use of AI.
Furthermore, in March 2025, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications established the “Regulations Concerning the Accreditation of Certification Services Related to e-Seals,” and preparations are underway for the launch of an accreditation system for certification authorities that issue certificates for e-seals aimed at secure data distribution.
Companies and organizations promoting digital transformation (DX) are also required to take measures to ensure the authenticity of electronic documents, invoices, certificates, and other documents, and the use of trust services is expected to expand.
