Penta Security Broadens Cloudbric AWS WAF Coverage

Penta Security Co., Ltd., an information security company, is pleased to announce that it will expand the service region for “Cloudbric Managed Rules for AWS WAF,” a managed rule solution for AWS WAF, to three new regions: Taipei, Thailand, and Mexico.

Cloudbric Managed Rules for AWS WAF (hereinafter referred to as Cloudbric Managed Rules) are managed rules for AWS WAF. Managed Rules are pre-defined security rules provided by AWS and independent software vendors (ISVs). Penta Security currently offers six managed rules products (Cloudbric Managed Rules) on the AWS Marketplace, which users can purchase to protect their applications from a variety of threats. Cloudbric Managed Rules is developed based on Penta Security’s proprietary core technology, and its high attack detection rate has been proven by the Tolly Group, a global product verification organization.

With the opening of new AWS regions, Cloudbric Managed Rules will expand its service region. With the addition of the three new regions — Asia Pacific (Taipei), Asia Pacific (Thailand), and Mexico (Central) — Cloudbric Managed Rules now has a total of 33 service regions worldwide. Penta Security plans to continue expanding its service region in order to provide advanced web security regardless of region.
