NRI Secure Technologies, Ltd. launched the “Threat Hunting Readiness Building Support Service”, which helps companies and organizations gradually establish and establish a state in which they can efficiently and effectively conduct threat hunting within their organizations. Threat hunting is a method of actively and repeatedly (regularly) searching for threats in order to detect potential cyber threats within systems.
Threat hunting is expected to expand in both the public and private sectors
In recent years, sophisticated, organized cyberattacks and digital crimes aimed at obtaining illicit profits have been steadily increasing, severely impacting businesses. In particular, there have been reported cases of attacks using “living off the land (LotL)” tactics, which exploit legitimate system functions, to evade detection by traditional security measures. Under these circumstances, the importance of “threat hunting,” which actively and repeatedly searches for traces of undetected threats lurking within systems and leads to early detection and response of incidents, is rapidly increasing.
Furthermore, the “Cybersecurity Strategy” approved by the Cabinet in December 2025 calls for the formulation of basic guidelines for the promotion and implementation of threat hunting by the summer of 2026. In light of these trends, it is becoming increasingly important to establish a system capable of continuously conducting threat hunting.

Overview and features of this service
This service supports building threat hunting readiness through desktop assessments and actual device verification. First, we conduct a desktop assessment of your threat hunting readiness from the perspectives of technology, process, and organization. We then conduct threat hunting on your actual devices, targeting specific threats, and verifying your detection capabilities against attacks that mimic anticipated threats (purple teaming). Based on the results of these assessments, we create and report recommendations for improving your threat hunting readiness.
