LAC and KDDI will launch advanced security solutions worldwide. This aims to tackle the rising threat of cyber attacks. This initiative uses LAC’s deep skills in security monitoring, known as one of the largest in Japan. It also taps into KDDI’s global reach. Together, they provide fast and effective responses to security incidents, even those impacting international operations.
In the first phase, the two companies will set up a global support team. This team will focus on security inquiries from international locations. The initiative aims to safeguard critical information assets, infrastructure, and international business sites. Services will grow over time to meet different customer needs. This will include better security systems and support in multiple languages.
KDDI stresses that strong cybersecurity is key to driving digital transformation and maximizing AI’s potential. LAC and KDDI, through their joint framework “WAKONX,” will strengthen defenses against complex cyber threats. They aim to boost cybersecurity business growth and support Japan’s digital progress.

Background
Cyber attacks are now a global concern, affecting organizations of all sizes. Overseas subsidiaries are especially at risk. They often have weak security.
