KDDI Eyelet Corporation, an AI integrator that accelerates the social implementation of AI by integrating its track record in cloud and multi-cloud deployments with cutting-edge AI technology, will begin offering the “Google AI Threat Defense Implementation Support Service” on Thursday, July 30, 2026. This service provides hands-on support for the design and implementation of “Google AI Threat Defense,” an AI-driven security platform announced by Google Cloud in May 2026.
This service utilizes AI generation to automatically detect and correct security risks in cloud environments, and provides a 24/7/365 security operation system in a supportive manner, thereby protecting cloud environments from increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks.
Providing background
In recent years, cyberattacks have become increasingly sophisticated and complex due to the misuse of AI, and traditional signature-based and manual security operations are no longer sufficient to prevent them. Meanwhile, the shortage of security personnel in Japanese companies is extremely serious, and they face a dual challenge: “defense against sophisticated attacks” and “depletion of operational resources.”

Against this backdrop, Google Cloud announced “Google AI Threat Defense,” an AI-driven, always-on security platform, in May 2026. It integrates Gemini’s advanced inference capabilities, Wiz’s cloud security infrastructure, CodeMender’s AI-powered security remediation, Mandiant’s threat intelligence, and Google Security Operations’ SOC platform to autonomously handle everything from vulnerability detection to remediation.
KDDI Eyelet has been quick to conduct technical verification of this latest solution since its announcement, and has established a system to rapidly apply it to customers’ environments. This swift response is supported by its high level of technical expertise as a Google Cloud Premier Partner (*). Its capabilities have been highly praised by Google Cloud, including winning two awards in two categories at the “2026 Google Cloud Partner Award of the Year” for the second consecutive year. Furthermore, in addition to international security certifications such as ISMS (ISO/IEC 27001) and SOC 2, it has also obtained certification for the international standard for AI management systems, “ISO/IEC 42001 (AIMS),” demonstrating its reliable capabilities in both AI utilization and security. Leveraging this knowledge and its track record of supporting more than 2,000 projects annually, KDDI Eyelet will build and support the optimal “AI-driven security operation system” for each customer’s environment in a collaborative manner.
