Japan Cyber Defense has raised 1 billion yen in seed funding from Incubate Fund, MPower Partners, and DBJ Capital. They have officially launched MIJXDR, Japan’s first sovereign cybersecurity platform. The platform is fully built in Japan and follows government rules for protecting national infrastructure and economic security. It also focuses on privacy compliance. The system keeps an eye on potential threats in real-time and employs AI for the automation of security operations. It is capable of repelling ransomware, advanced persistent threats, and supply chain attacks. It is also designed to work with regulatory bodies and public-private teams.
Right now, 95 percent of cybersecurity tools used in Japan come from overseas. MIJXDR changes that. It is aimed at banks, manufacturers, critical infrastructure, and smaller companies. It gives insight into cyber threats and helps protect high-risk sectors.
