Iroba Co., Ltd. and Data Service Co., Ltd. have signed a sales partner agreement, under which Data Service will begin offering Iroba’s security solutions, including its cloud-based WAF service BLUE Sphere.
The partnership comes as Data Service looks to expand the cybersecurity support it provides alongside system development, implementation and operational assistance. The company has worked with customers on a range of business solutions and has been considering ways to address cybersecurity risks. Through the new partnership, it will offer existing and new customers a more complete approach that brings system support and security measures together.
BLUE Sphere combines several security functions in one cloud-based service. It includes WAF protection against attacks targeting web applications, DDoS protection to help prevent service disruption, and website tampering detection. The service also provides DNS monitoring and cybersecurity insurance.

The WAF can be introduced through a DNS change, while attack analysis and defence updates are handled by the service provider. BLUE Sphere also checks website consistency to identify tampering and continuously monitors DNS activity for hacking attempts.
Cybersecurity insurance is included in the base service, covering not only damages but also legal consultation, measures to prevent recurrence, and certain public relations and advertising costs following an incident.
The service uses a base fee covering its features and support, with pricing determined by outbound traffic performance over the previous three months.
