Hitachi Solutions Technology Co., Ltd. announced on the 28th that it will begin selling TXOne security solutions (Element series, Stellar, Edge series, SageOne) that support strengthening security in OT environments such as manufacturing, based on a sales agency agreement with TXOne Networks Japan LLC, which deals with OT (operational technology) security. TXOne security solutions cover security inspection, network defense, and endpoint protection, which are important points of security measures indicated in the Cyber Physical Security Measures Guidelines for Factory Systems formulated by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and meet the unique needs of diverse OT environments. It reduces the burden of security measures and protects systems and data from security threats.
Among the TXOne security solutions, the TXOne Element series for security inspection performs security inspections on devices in closed environments, standalone devices, devices brought into factories from outside, and devices shipped outside, and searches for and removes malware. Inspections can be performed with simple procedures using USB memory type and touch panel terminal type inspection devices. There is no need to install software on the inspection target, and it is compatible with legacy Windows/Linux. It can collect asset and vulnerability information while inspecting, and can centrally manage the information and generate security reports. TXOne Stellar, an endpoint protection system, protects endpoints in OT environments from malware, application attacks, unauthorized application execution, threats using USB, and malicious activities. Designed to minimize the impact of installation and operation (no reboot required after installation, easy to update in maintenance mode), it uses machine learning to create rules for normal operation, and can detect and defend against behavior that does not conform to the rules. It also supports legacy Windows OS.
TXOne Edge series, a network defense system, protects assets and networks from intrusions and attacks on OT networks by monitoring network traffic and detecting and analyzing abnormal communications and threats. It can prevent the spread of vulnerabilities through network segmentation, and protects vulnerable terminals through virtual patches. It can also be installed without changing the network configuration.

TXOne SageOne, a cyber-physical system (CPS) protection platform, provides integrated management of security information and visualizes assets and network structures within the environment, providing insight into potential vulnerabilities, as well as protecting assets and detecting threats. It allows integrated management of all TXOne solutions, and allows for an integrated understanding of the security protection status throughout the asset lifecycle (from procurement to disposal). It collects and analyzes data from subordinate TXOne products to provide comprehensive security information such as threat detection, risk assessment, possible security measures, and vulnerability management. It covers security inspection, network defense, and endpoint protection.
