Fujifilm Business Innovation Corporation launched two new security services as part of its “IT Expert Services” lineup for small and medium-sized enterprises: “IT Expert Services OS Patch Application Support (PC),” which assists in addressing vulnerabilities in Windows PCs, and “IT Expert Services Cloud Backup Service 500GB,” which assists in data recovery in the event of data loss.
In recent years, the increasing number of cyberattacks affecting business partners has made strengthening security measures across the entire supply chain a social imperative. In response to this situation, the government and industry associations are considering mechanisms to organize and visualize the measures that each company should implement. On the other hand, while small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) recognize the need for countermeasures, many find it difficult to adequately address the issue because implementing and operating security measures requires IT personnel with specialized knowledge and continuous investment.
In response to these challenges, we have expanded our lineup of security measures to make them easy to implement and operate, even for small and medium-sized enterprises that lack specialized knowledge and infrastructure. Until now, our “IT Expert Services” have provided services to help identify security risks and to detect signs of cyberattacks and support initial response. With the addition of this new service, we can now provide end-to-end support for security measures, from vulnerability countermeasures to make companies less susceptible to attacks, to data recovery after an incident occurs.

“IT Expert Services OS Patch Application Support (PC)”
To address vulnerabilities in operating systems that are common entry points for cyberattacks, we prevent missed updates by systematically applying Windows PC updates provided by Microsoft. The update application status can be checked for each PC through monthly reports, allowing for centralized management even in environments with distributed locations.
Furthermore, regarding the major annual feature updates for Windows, we implement a pre-verification process in the customer’s environment to minimize the risk of problems occurring after application, thereby maintaining an environment where customers can continue to operate with peace of mind.
