On February 19 2026 Canon Marketing Japan Inc. will complete its purchase of Amiya Co. Ltd. shares which will establish a capital and business partnership to enhance its cybersecurity operations. The decision aligns with the Canon MJ Group’s 2026 to 2030 long term management plan which positions total security combining cyber and physical measures as a core growth area.
Amiya develops its own data security and network security infrastructure. Its portfolio includes ALog, a log auditing tool, and Verona, a fully managed SASE offering. The company focuses on supporting organizations that underpin social infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on practical, high level security.
Canon MJ had already signed a distributorship agreement with Amiya in July 2024, targeting IT talent shortages among small and medium sized enterprises. This equity move deepens that relationship.

Going forward, both companies will combine Amiya’s security solutions with Canon MJ’s sales reach and marketing capabilities. The focus will be expanding services for SME customers, advancing Canon MJ Total Security offerings, and enabling personnel exchange in the security domain.
