AiLiNK Co., Ltd. began offering its AI governance SaaS, “AI Governance by AiLiNK,” on June 24, 2026. It provides comprehensive support for organizations’ AI utilization, from shadow AI detection to guideline optimization, AI talent development, and accountability to management.
Background: Why is AI governance necessary now?
While the business applications of generative AI are rapidly expanding, companies are structurally lagging behind in their response.
In the IPA’s “Top 10 Information Security Threats 2026,” “Cyber risks surrounding the use of AI (including shadow AI)” made its debut at number 3 (Source: Information-technology Promotion Agency, Japan). Furthermore, with the EU AI Act beginning its phased implementation in August 2026, addressing AI governance has become an urgent management issue.

However, the current mainstream solution is “prohibition/blocking,” which stifles on-site ingenuity while failing to fundamentally eliminate shadow AI. After conducting its own tests, AiLiNK is convinced that blocking cannot prevent shadow AI and will address this problem with a completely different approach.
