IDC Frontier Inc. is pleased to announce that it has expanded the area of its “High-Load Housing Service” at its Tokyo Fuchu Data Center, which can accommodate high-density heat-generating equipment such as GPUs and HPC servers.
Since its launch in March 2022, the “High Load Housing Service” has received a lot of support from customers involved in AI research and development, and the current service area is approaching full capacity. In response to this situation, we have added new areas between December 2024 and January 2025. In the newly expanded areas, the amount of power provided per rack has been increased, making it possible to supply up to 30 kVA of power.
With this expansion, approximately 60 racks have been added, bringing the total to approximately 100 racks, including the existing area. Ultimately, the “High Load Housing Service” is planned to offer a total of 230 racks.
