Zoho Japan Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce the release of a new build (12.8.272) of the network integrated monitoring tool “OpManager”. This new build enhances the Adaptive Threshold feature, allowing you to automatically set monitoring thresholds based on past monitoring data for all performance monitoring items. Other enhancements include an enhanced network path analysis function and the addition of an alert correlation rule function.
Overview of Adaptive Thresholds
In network and system monitoring, it is common to detect abnormalities in devices based on preset thresholds. If the thresholds are not set appropriately, unnecessary and wasteful alert notifications may be sent, or conversely, necessary alert notifications may not be sent, making it difficult to detect abnormalities.
OpManager’s Adaptive Thresholds feature uses AI to automatically set appropriate thresholds. It predicts optimal thresholds based on OpManager’s historical monitoring data and alerts you when there is a large deviation from this prediction.
Previously, adaptive thresholds were only available for CPU utilization, memory utilization, and response time for health checks, but with this update, they are now available for almost all performance monitors.

Other major enhancements
Enhanced network path analysis
This feature allows you to analyze problems on the route to a specific destination, and monitors latency and packet loss at each hop in the network path.
Previously, you could only monitor routes originating from the OpManager server, but with the new build, you can now monitor from devices that have the OpManager agent installed, which will allow you to analyze issues across a wider range of network paths.
Adding an alert correlation rule
This feature allows users to define their own rules for triggering alerts. Flexible alert settings help reduce alert and event noise.
Improved storage monitoring
Storage monitoring for Hitachi NAS is now available, and device templates for EMC Unity Storage, Pure Storage, EMC Isilon Storage, IBM Spectrum Virtualize, Netapp ONTAP, and IBM DS Series have been added.
What is OpManager?
ManageEngine OpManager is a cost-effective integrated server and network monitoring software that provides integrated operational monitoring of physical/virtual/cloud servers, network devices, syslog, and event logs.
This product, which covers all the functions essential for IT infrastructure monitoring, has sold over 3,100 licenses in Japan to date and is used by many companies.
It features a variety of report screens and a map view that can be drawn by drag and drop, visualizing the configuration and status of complex server/network environments and network interfaces, thereby streamlining performance management and fault management tasks in IT operations management.
We have established the number one share* in the market for integrated server and network monitoring software for small and medium-sized businesses.
