Yamory, a vulnerability management cloud operated by Assured Inc., is pleased to announce that it has expanded the scope of its cloud asset scanning function.
Yamory has previously offered a “cloud asset scanning feature” that allows users to obtain information about software and configuration errors in EC2 and ECR in an AWS Linux environment simply by linking their accounts. We have now expanded the scope of support to now also allow cloud asset scanning in Azure. This means that whether you are using AWS, Linux in Azure, or Windows Server, you can grasp the entire system simply by linking your accounts.
One of the security challenges that companies face is that there are so many systems in use that it is not possible to comprehensively manage all servers, making it easy for gaps to occur. Gaps mean that vulnerability management is not being implemented properly, and there is a high possibility that attackers will infiltrate through systems that are not targeted. In order to prevent damage from cyber attacks that are becoming more diverse and complex, comprehensive vulnerability management of the systems used is essential.
Therefore, Yamory has come to offer a “cloud asset scanning function” that, by simply connecting to a cloud account, can collect configuration information for hosts, containers, and software on the cloud and make it a target for software asset management, as well as detect configuration information errors (CSPM), enabling comprehensive vulnerability management.
Until now, this function was only available for AWS, but now it also supports Azure, making it available to a wider range of customers.
