Tsukaeru Net Co., Ltd., a cloud service provider, began offering Tsukaeru Private Cloud, a new IaaS/PaaS platform, on January 5, 2026, for Japanese companies struggling with rising cloud costs and increasingly complex operations.
Background to the launch: The “Triple Whammy of Cloud” hitting Japanese companies
The recent rapid depreciation of the yen and the increase in cloud usage have caused the fees for major cloud services to skyrocket, putting a strain on corporate IT budgets and making “cloud bankruptcy” a real possibility. Furthermore, Japanese small and medium-sized enterprises are facing many challenges, including a shortage of IT personnel due to increasing functional complexity and a return to data sovereignty (domestic management) due to geopolitical risks.

Tsukaeru.net has developed a simple, highly cost-effective, domestically produced cloud platform that uses technology from Virtuozzo, a company with a global track record, as a “third option (alternative cloud)” to solve these issues.
