Saison Technology Co., Ltd. will begin offering “HULFT10 for Container Platform,” a file integration middleware compatible with Red Hat OpenShift, on March 5th.
This product is the first major version upgrade of “HULFT” in 10 years, and follows the Amazon ECS compatible version launched in February 2024, and the Windows, Linux, AIX, IBMi, and zOS compatible versions launched in December of the same year. As an Operator certified by Red Hat OpenShift Certification, “HULFT10” can be run in Kubernetes container platform environments on self-built infrastructure, on-premise environments provided by Red Hat’s domestic partners, and fully managed services provided by major overseas cloud services.
In recent years, there has been an accelerating trend towards modernization, where aging systems that have supported corporate information systems for many years are migrated to modern infrastructure such as cloud platforms. As one method of modernization, container environments are becoming more and more popular, as they are lighter in weight and can launch applications more quickly than traditional virtualized environments.

At the same time, it is important that the transition to modern infrastructure be carried out with minimal impact on operations running on existing systems, and it is becoming increasingly necessary to enable data integration between the migrated modern systems and core systems such as mainframes and minimised desktop computers, as well as peripheral systems such as SaaS, not only on traditional platforms such as Windows and Linux, but also in container environments.
HULFT10, which was developed with the concept of connecting all kinds of IT systems across boundaries, now supports Red Hat OpenShift, an enterprise container orchestration platform, providing strong support for the modernization of legacy systems in hybrid environments centered on container platforms.
