Nifco has started using Sherpa & Company’s cloud-based sustainability disclosure service, ‘SmartESG,’ from August 1, 2026. The move is aimed at strengthening how Nifco collects, analyzes and manages sustainability information across its operations.
Nifco will use SmartESG’s ‘Focus’ analysis function to assess ESG information based on the characteristics of different rating agencies and conduct self-analysis aligned with future SSBJ standards. This will help the business spot the main sustainability topics, follow how things change over time, and make both required and optional reports clearer.

SmartESG can help with steps like counting GHG emissions and gathering other non-financial data. It then supports review and report writing for regulatory needs. The software also uses automated help to reduce manual work in sustainability tasks. This matches the recent trend toward handling ESG in a more connected and numbers based way.
