Keeping enterprise systems running isn’t really just about watching servers anymore, it’s more like having a clear view everywhere. Businesses now need visibility across different applications, across cloud environments, and in customer-facing services too, somehow all at once, not piece by piece. This is the whole point of a new partnership between New Relic and Japan Business Systems (JBS). They want to bolster managed services for enterprises, but through observability, rather than the old monitoring-only approach.
As part of the collaboration, JBS will integrate New Relic’s full-stack observability platform into its managed service offering to improve monitoring across hybrid cloud environments. The companies will also explore app performance monitoring, digital service quality, user experience insights, and AI driven operations to help businesses catch problems faster and keep service reliability more steady.

A major chunk of the partnership is the use of New Relic’s Japan Data Center, so telemetry data can be collected, processed, and stored entirely inside Japan. That helps with the increasing demand from sectors like finance, manufacturing, and critical infrastructure, where data residency, security, and low-latency work are becoming kind of more important every year. The two companies are aiming for 40 enterprise customers for their shared services by September 2028.
