NEC has launched VirtualPCCenter 6.7. This new desktop virtualization solution supports Hyper-V virtual GPUs. As hybrid work increases, companies need safe virtual desktop setups. They need to handle graphics-heavy apps, such as video conferencing.
VirtualPCCenter 6.7 solves this by using GPU acceleration. It shifts graphics processing from the CPU to the GPU. This boosts performance and cuts server CPU load by more than 50% during heavy tasks. This solution also offers a cost-effective alternative to major overseas virtual GPU products, supporting efficient VDI deployment.
In addition to virtual GPU support, VirtualPCCenter 6.7 now supports Windows Server 2025 across management servers, client management servers, Hyper-V virtualization platforms, and virtual PCs, expanding system-building options for customers. NEC began shipping the management server software, virtual PC licenses, and support packs on October 1, 2025.
