MENTENA, a cloud-based facility management system provided by Yachiyo Solutions Co., Ltd., will expand its web API that allows users to obtain and update facility operating status from September 1, 2025. This will support flexible data utilization tailored to a company’s system environment and contribute to the advancement of facility management operations.
Speed up initial response to equipment troubles. Eliminate time lags in information sharing with API integration
A new function has been added to the Web API to retrieve and update equipment operating status. This modification enables data integration between MENTENA and external equipment-related systems such as production management systems (MES) and PLCs, supporting the centralization of equipment information. Equipment operation status, operating status, and shutdown history can be recorded in MENTENA via API, and conversely, the latest equipment status on MENTENA can be imported into external systems, allowing for the instant sharing of information about problems that occur on-site.
This Web API has been developed with the following usage scenarios in mind:
Eliminates duplicate registration : When equipment is stopped, registration to MENTENA, notification to the management department, and data registration can all be completed in one go.
Improved data analysis efficiency : Linked with BI tools, it enables immediate extraction and analysis of operation status and shutdown history.
Automatic linkage : Stops detected by PLCs or sensors are automatically reflected in MENTENA.

When facility management data is managed in multiple independent systems or on paper or in Excel, there is a risk that responses will be delayed due to delays in information transmission. However, this API integration prevents problems from being overlooked and improves the speed of responses.
