After more than a decade of pioneering the definition of what private cloud can deliver to customers, HPE today announced that the industry’s most advanced private cloud portfolio (Note 1) is now even stronger with the addition of HPE Morpheus Software. HPE is committed to transforming how businesses modernize hybrid IT to deliver cost efficiency, performance and simplicity, with the following key advancements:
HPE Morpheus VM Essentials is now available on HPE Private Cloud Business Edition. With multi-hypervisor support and self-service cloud usage, you can reduce virtualization license costs by up to 90% (Note 2). The cost savings from deploying this system are significant, with an estimated 2.5 times lower total cost of ownership (TCO) (Note 4) than the industry-leading distributed HCI (dHCI) (Note 3).
The HPE Morpheus Software family includes HPE Morpheus VM Essentials for virtualized workloads and HPE Morpheus Enterprise Software for unified cloud management. Both software products include HPE’s HVM hypervisor and are licensed per socket, helping to lower TCO. VM Essentials customers can upgrade to the full version of HPE Morpheus Enterprise.
