Extreme-D Co., Ltd. and TES-AMM JAPAN Co., Ltd. have signed a memorandum of understanding on August 15, 2026, regarding joint business development and promotion of a cloud-based AI server infrastructure utilizing ITAD (IT Asset Disposition).

With the rapid proliferation of generative AI, the demand for AI servers continues to expand globally, and the number of units deployed is increasing every year. Consequently, the amount of AI servers discarded due to equipment upgrades and replacements in data centers is also increasing, making the effective utilization of used and reusable AI server equipment a crucial issue from a resource recycling perspective. Leveraging ITAD’s expertise in AI server utilization, both companies have entered into this memorandum of understanding with the aim of creating new business opportunities in a sustainable manner by revitalizing and providing these AI servers that have exceeded a certain number of years as a cloud infrastructure.
