UiPath and NTT DATA Wiz have signed an MOU to move faster on agent automation and BPO in Japan. No fluff here. Both sides see the same gap. Companies want productivity gains but their workflows are still dragging. Put UiPath’s agent automation into NTT DATA With’s BPO engine and you get a cleaner, faster, and more scalable way for teams to operate.
The plan is straightforward. Both companies will build and promote a joint business roadmap for Japan. NTT DATA Wiz will pull UiPath’s agent automation into its BPO stack so everyday processes run with more speed and fewer mistakes. And as they roll this out, Japanese companies get the playbook they need to adopt agent automation without tripping over the usual implementation hurdles.

There is also a long game here. The two companies will work together on AI talent development and build BPO services that use generative AI at the core. The aim is to push BPO from routine task handling to something sharper. A model where automation carries the grunt work and humans step in where judgment matters.
