Sony Biz Networks has launched “Assist SaaS Manager,” a centralized management service aimed at improving oversight of corporate SaaS applications, devices, and employee usage. Part of the company’s NURO Biz Assist lineup, this new tool enables organizations to visualize and manage contract details, device assignments, and employee associations across their IT ecosystem.
The service offers three core functions: SaaS management, device management, and employee information management. It helps companies track how employees use SaaS. They can monitor contract lengths and get alerts for expiring licenses or unused accounts. This way, they avoid unnecessary costs and security risks. The system can automatically sync data for SaaS tools with APIs. It can also find inactive accounts that may need deactivation.
Device management includes tracking assets, like terminal names and user assignments. It also alerts admins about upcoming contract expirations. The employee management feature connects staff details with their assigned software and hardware. This helps with offboarding and reclaiming licenses when employees leave or take leave.
