SAS Inc., a Smile Tech Company that brings smiles to society, is pleased to announce that “Kinro no Shishi,” a cloud-based attendance management service developed and provided by the Company, has begun collaborating with the “Shift Schedule Conversion Service” provided by Athens Computer Systems Co., Ltd.
Through this collaboration, companies that use Kinro no Shishi will be able to convert data into a format suitable for import into the system, without the need to standardize formats or do manual formatting, which was previously required when importing data into the system.
As a result, the time required to import shift data can be reduced by up to 80%, and it is expected that work will be reduced by up to 20 hours or more per month (according to our research).

The “diversity” of on-site shift creation and the “inefficiency” caused by Excel culture
Shift schedule formats are often created in Excel format unique to each company, and the format and structure vary.
However, these formats cannot be imported into the attendance management system as they are, and they have to be converted manually into a format compatible with the system. This workload creates “invisible overtime” for back office and site managers, and leads to human error and labor risks due to dependency on individual staff.
