MOS Food Services Adopts AI for Supply Chain Planning

MOS Food Services has adopted Hacobu’s MOVO PSI to manage ordering and transportation planning across its supply chain. The AI-powered service uses demand forecasts to help calculate order volumes, while employees can focus on products and situations where their judgment is still needed. The system also lets suppliers see future demand and order forecasts before orders are confirmed. This gives them more time to plan production, inventory and transportation, helping reduce supply disruptions. MOS Food Services is introducing the service as it updates its aging supply chain infrastructure and deals with more complex demand patterns linked to e-commerce and M&A. The company also aims to capture the knowledge of experienced employees and make it easier to pass on.
