Booost Inc., which supports companies’ SX (Sustainability Transformation) through the provision of “Sustainability ERP”, which has been the No. 1 market share* for two consecutive years among major companies, and through the advocacy of the “Sustainability 2026 Problem”, has partnered with screw and bolt trading companies Shinjo International Co., Ltd., Takashima Co., Ltd., Miyagawa Metal Sales Co., Ltd., Live Fabless Co., Ltd., screw and bolt manufacturers Kyusei Ra Co., Ltd., Maru-Em Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Miyagawa Co., Ltd., Persol Business Process Design Co., Ltd., which develops consulting and BPaaS including BPO, and third-party verification organization DNV Business Assurance Japan Co., Ltd., to launch “booost CBAM (Boost)” on April 1, 2026, in order to respond to the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) of the EU and the United Kingdom (UK). We conducted the first free Proof of Concept (PoC) using “Seabam”.
Our company has been selected as the first Japanese startup to become a global partner in the “Partnership for Carbon Transparency (PACT),” an international framework for calculating and exchanging product carbon footprints (PCF). Furthermore, we are certified as a solution provider in the “Pathfinder Network,” the international technical specification of PACT, and our sustainability ERP, “booost Sustainability (booost PCF),” implements the PACT Methodology.
Against the backdrop of progress in the standardization of international data sharing, the importance of ensuring transparency of emissions data across the entire supply chain and sharing real-world data is increasing. With the full implementation of the EU’s CBAM, companies are required to track and report emissions at the product level, making it essential for companies to acquire and share real-world data across their entire supply chain.

However, in practice, a structural challenge still exists where emissions data is concentrated in the upstream of the supply chain and is not sufficiently shared with midstream and downstream companies. To address this challenge, we have developed and are providing “booost CBAM,” an application that securely and efficiently links the data necessary for CBAM compliance. As the first free proof-of-concept using “booost CBAM,” we conducted verification of real-world data distribution with the aim of identifying use cases and operational challenges.
