Japanese data engineering firm INSIGHT LAB Inc. has launched a new AI agent service aimed at turning corporate data into real operational decisions, not just experiments stuck in pilot mode.
The pitch is straightforward. Many companies rushed into generative AI over the last two years. Most of those projects never moved beyond proof of concept. The problem was rarely the AI itself. It was the data underneath. Messy systems. Poor data pipelines. No operational integration.
INSIGHT LAB is trying to fix that gap.

The service combines AI agents with the company’s core strength in data infrastructure and data visualization. Users can ask questions in natural language through a chat interface. The AI then searches internal business data, runs analysis, and produces conclusions along with the supporting numbers, indicators, and visual graphs. The goal is simple. Not just answers, but answers with evidence.
The company is also positioning the service as an operational layer rather than a standalone AI tool. It plugs into the full data value chain from strategy and infrastructure to analytics and process improvement.
With experience across roughly 600 companies and more than 2,000 projects, INSIGHT LAB says the approach could cut business workloads by 30 to 50 percent. The bigger point though is adoption. AI that actually runs inside daily operations is where the real value starts showing up.
