VALANCE Inc., which develops and provides the AI-driven Headless SCM (Supply Chain Management) platform “VALANCE,” has raised funds in its seed round with Delight Ventures as the lead investor and SMBC Edge and Mitsubishi UFJ Capital as underwriters. This brings the total amount raised to 310 million yen.
Our company’s “VALANCE” is an AI-driven headless SCM platform for small and medium-sized enterprises that support Japanese industry. It features a system, the first of its kind in Japan, where AI automatically builds a company-specific SCM infrastructure simply by uploading supporting documents and SCM data. This infrastructure organizes and integrates core data, allowing management information to be visualized in real time and easily accessed via chat.
The funds raised will be used to strengthen the functionality of the AI platform specialized for the SCM field and to expand the product development structure. By improving existing products and promoting the recruitment of personnel, the company aims to increase the value it provides and accelerate the development of the platform to leapfrog the productivity of Japanese small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) rapidly, rather than incrementally.

Going forward, we will continue to advance the sophistication of AI infrastructure in the SCM field and strengthen automation functions using on-site data. We will create an environment where small and medium-sized enterprises can master AI without specialized knowledge, and promote the creation of a system that will enable more companies to increase their productivity in a short period of time.
