Umee Technologies Inc., which develops and provides “Front Agent,” a conversational AI that brings evolution to organizations, has completed a Series A round of funding of 300 million yen with the aim of accelerating recruitment to build a business team and strengthen product development. New investors in this round included Gree Ventures, Mizuho Capital, Shizuoka Capital, Cybozu, M-SOLUTIONS, Toyokumo, and Tasuki Holdings, and existing investor QXLV (Quantum Leap Ventures).
Front Agent, released in May 2023, has grown significantly, primarily through word of mouth, with over 150 companies adopting it, and we are also excited about the AI functions that we are developing every day.
At companies that have adopted this service, they have seen new recruits with no sales experience record double the sales of veterans in just one month, and organizations that were chronically failing to meet their KPIs have now achieved them. These companies have experienced the groundwork for human evolution that focuses on understanding and growth, something that was not present in previous service approaches.

Furthermore, we have begun development of a new business called “AX (AI Transformation) – Pursuing the Value of Human Existence”.
The funds raised this time will be used primarily for product development, expanding sales, and hiring new members to handle these tasks, in order to further expand the value the company provides.
