ServiceNow has completed its acquisition of Moveworks. This is a big move in its plan to integrate artificial intelligence into daily enterprise tasks. The transaction brings together ServiceNow’s agentic AI and workflow platform with Moveworks’ AI assistant and search technology. This enhances ServiceNow’s role as an AI control tower for business transformation.
This combination boosts the ServiceNow AI Platform. It helps organizations speed up the process from employee requests to finished work. The two companies want to simplify employee interactions with enterprise systems. They plan to do this by combining back-end workflows with a user-friendly, conversational AI front end. This will speed up AI adoption and provide natural, intuitive AI-driven experiences.
Amit Zavery, President, COO, and Chief Product Officer at ServiceNow, says the acquisition supports the company’s goal to integrate AI into all business operations. ServiceNow is using 20 years of workflow intelligence and Moveworks’ AI assistant. This creates an enterprise-grade AI system. Bhavin Shah, CEO of Moveworks, noted that the company was founded with the goal of making work easier through AI. Joining ServiceNow lets Moveworks expand its agent-based approach. This integration blends its AI assistant and enterprise search with ServiceNow’s workflow automation and AI governance. It works well for organizations of any size. Together, the platforms are positioned to provide a secure, end-to-end solution that supports employees wherever they work.
The core of the integration is a unified employee experience. It’s built on one smart platform. The ServiceNow AI Platform offers native AI that automates work on a large scale. It also ensures built-in trust and transparency. Moveworks offers a chat-based interface. Employees can ask questions, search for info, and take action easily in digital workplaces. These technologies link employee requests to automated fulfillment. It breaks down silos, speeds up time to value, and boosts productivity in IT, HR, customer service, development, and admin tasks.
Agentic AI is showing clear results for ServiceNow customers. AI agents on the platform handle most routine requests. They resolve about 90% of IT inquiries and 89% of customer support questions. This cuts resolution times by nearly seven times. Moveworks builds on this momentum. ServiceNow is one of over 100 tech integrations by Moveworks. Its AI assistant and search features are used by global companies like Siemens, Toyota, and Unilever.
ServiceNow and Moveworks now support about 5.5 million employees and around 250 customers combined. Moveworks’ deployments stand out for their wide adoption. Nearly 90 percent of customers use the technology across their entire workforce. This shared foundation lets the combined company bring agentic AI to every employee. It also helps streamline workflows across the organization.
The acquisition adds many AI specialists to ServiceNow. This boosts its expertise and speeds up work on the AI roadmap. ServiceNow aims to enhance employee experiences. With improved tech and a wider talent pool, the platform will interpret prompts. It will link users to the right data, AI agents, or workflows. This will support seamless digital processes in IT, HR, and more, all on a flexible and scalable platform.
