Salesforce Japan Co., Ltd. will begin offering the latest version of Agentforce, “Agentforce 2dx,” in Japan. Agentforce 2dx was announced at TDX 2025 held in San Francisco in March this year as a platform for creating a digital workforce to introduce autonomous AI agents into business processes.
With the release of Agentforce 2dx in Japan, Salesforce developers in Japan will have access to a new set of low-code and pro-code tools that enable them to configure, test, and deploy Agentforce more quickly.
Agentforce 2dx features include:
Agentforce API: The new Agentforce API allows you to directly integrate Agentforce into your back-end processes and other systems and applications, for example dynamically executing an AI agent when a purchase order is updated in your ERP, or automating the loan application process to ensure that required information is included on the documents.

Flow & Apex Invocable Actions: Just like Flow and Apex, Agentforce can now be integrated into Salesforce business logic. This allows you to combine traditional workflow automation with AI agent reasoning . For example, an AI agent can dynamically execute when a deal moves to a certain stage, infer the best next step and trigger an update email or approval process accordingly.
MuleSoft for Agentforce: MuleSoft Topic Center allows developers to create Agentforce topics and actions from MuleSoft APIs using natural language. MuleSoft API Catalog simplifies AI agent development by centralizing access to diverse MuleSoft, Salesforce and Heroku APIs within Agentforce, providing administrators with a secure and governed API hub. Pre-built topics and actions allow you to extend the capabilities of your AI agents across your ecosystem. Additionally, the Agentforce connector in the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform allows developers to integrate Agentforce into existing business flows and dynamically execute AI agents to enrich data and take actions across systems using APIs and integrations.
Surfaces: Intelligently deliver rich content within Agentforce to all Digital Engagement channels. Intelligently add dynamic interaction components and media specific to the channel or device to better customize the Agentforce experience across channels.
Developer Edition with Agentforce & Data Cloud: A new free developer environment with access to Agentforce and Data Cloud to start prototyping your first use cases. Agentforce Developer Edition includes 10GB access to Data Cloud and generation of 150 LLMs per hour.
CLI Deployment: Developers can now leverage the CLI and Visual Studio Code to create, update, and test Agentforce configurations. All settings in the Agentforce configuration can be created and updated in the pro-code tool and test cases can also be run against these configurations.
AI-assisted agent development: With AI-driven topic and instruction creation, teams can quickly configure best-practice compliant AI agents, helping them get up and running faster and with confidence with Agentforce. AI Assist also helps troubleshoot answers provided by Agentforce, providing guidance on how to improve the underlying topics and instructions.
DX Inspector: Search and analyze all metadata and data used in Agentforce, including AI agent topics and actions, inside your Salesforce Sandbox. Easily create and track metadata changes while configuring your AI agents in Agent Builder from the side panel.
Testing Center UI: Leverage AI to easily test your Agentforce configurations at scale, and auto-generate and execute test cases in the Salesforce Sandbox Testing Center to assess how well your Agentforce configurations comply with guardrails like answer fidelity and contextual relevance.
Interaction Explorer: Provides detailed reporting and analysis of Agentforce performance, from general trends to individual session traces. Understand the reasoning steps associated with each user request and response, and see AI-driven recommendations to continuously refine topics and instructions to improve the performance of your AI agents.
