Quollio has launched a beta program for its MCP Server Function. The feature links Quollio Data Intelligence Cloud, or QDIC, with external MCP clients like Claude Desktop. It lets metadata in QDIC be accessed and updated from these clients. The goal is to automate metadata management and improve the use of data and AI across the company.
As generative AI is applied more in business, proper metadata is critical. Companies spend a lot of time finding data, and maintaining metadata adds to data stewards’ workload. The mentioned functionality empowers artificial intelligence to perform instant searches on metadata and, as a result, to automatically update, describe, and tag the data.
The trial period is from the 1st of December 2025 to the 31st of March 2026. Companies with a QDIC contract can join. The feature lets users search metadata, retrieve detailed information, update basic and custom properties, and manage tags across multiple assets.

It supports data stewardship by suggesting missing metadata, helps analysts generate accurate queries without specialized knowledge, and allows executives to track KPIs and data ownership. Quollio will use feedback to improve the function for its official release and advance AI-driven metadata management in Japanese companies.
