NVIDIA will provide $250 million worth of computing resources over five years to support agent-based AI safety and security research across the UK. The initiative will make $50 million in computing resources available annually, with most of the support directed towards the wider research community.
Part of the programme will support the British Open-ended Learning & Discovery Lab (BOLD), SOFAIR and Imperial College London, covering research into adaptive AI systems, open-source architectures and robotics safety.

The computing infrastructure will be hosted in the UK through NVIDIA Cloud partners, strengthening domestic research capabilities. Research priorities include secure AI agents, open model security, threat mitigation and security benchmarking. The initiative builds on existing collaborations, including the University of Bristol’s Isambard-AI supercomputer, powered by NVIDIA Grace Hopper Superchips.
