Mitsubishi Electric Corporation and Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad have established a three-year partnership through their memorandum of understanding which will last until February 2029. The mission of the organization. The organization seeks to achieve its goals through two main activities. The organization wants to create new inventions through its research work and its actual talent exchange program.
The collaboration will span artificial intelligence, quantum technologies and cybersecurity. Both sides want to speed up technology development and push research outcomes into practical use. Not as a brochure line. As working solutions that matter.
IIT Hyderabad which started its operations in 2008 as one of the IIT institutions has developed its reputation because of its scientific research and engineering programs and energy research activities which drive it to create entrepreneurial ventures and work together with industrial partners. It already works closely with Japanese universities and companies.

This is not a first handshake. Mitsubishi Electric has been engaging with IIT Hyderabad through student internships and joint research with TiHAN, the autonomous navigation hub on campus. This agreement simply scales what was already working and gives it structure.
