Kameda General Hospital in Chiba Prefecture has launched Ubie Inc.’s new tools: ‘AI Partner Function’ and ‘Patient Navigation.’ These tools aim to ease the workload for medical staff and enhance patient outcomes. The initiative tackles a big problem in today’s healthcare. Doctors face a lot of scattered data. This includes treatment histories, lab results, and medication records. This information is usually found in various systems.
The ‘Patient Navigation’ platform gathers scattered information into one easy-to-use interface. This helps doctors see patient histories clearly and in order. It lets you create documents automatically based on preset conditions. The ‘AI Partner Function’ acts like a digital secretary powered by generative AI. It helps clinicians find patient data, organize info, and manage workflows. They can use conversational commands or voice input to do this.

The system streamlines information access. This helps doctors make faster and smarter clinical decisions. It also frees up time for direct patient care. Its use should improve diagnostic accuracy, lower oversight risks, and help catch problems early. Kameda plans to expand the system to more departments. Ubie will work on refining the technology. Their goal is to advance medical digital transformation across the country.
