DJ Insight Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that it has raised 30 million yen in seed funding through a third-party allocation of shares to THE SEED.
Our company develops and provides “Kagami AI,” an AI that visualizes nonverbal information in real-world spaces. Kagami AI analyzes facial expressions, tone of voice, pauses, changes in reactions, level of concentration, excitement, and level of agreement based on video and audio data acquired in face-to-face settings, visualizing the “atmosphere of a place” that previously relied on intuition and experience.
With this funding, we will use it to advance research and development of nonverbal information analysis AI, strengthen our AI development system, and expand its adoption, primarily in the beauty salon, education, training, and event sectors.

Background: The real world still contains information that has not yet been digitized.
In the digital realm, various behavioral data such as click-through rates, time spent on a site, purchase history, and browsing history are now being acquired and utilized. On the other hand, in the real world, where people interact directly, much of the important information remains undigitized.
For example, in face-to-face settings such as beauty salons, educational institutions, corporate training, events, and retail customer service, information such as whether the other party is truly convinced, feeling anxious, interested, or focused has a significant impact on the outcome.
However, this kind of information is often not explicitly stated, and traditionally, it has been left to the experience and intuition of the person in charge.
DJ Insight uses AI to analyze nonverbal information such as facial expressions, voice, pauses, reactions, and changes in the environment, and supports improvements in face-to-face interactions by generating “data that didn’t exist before” in real-world spaces.
