HEROZ Inc. is pleased to announce that it has formed a business partnership with APT Inc., a logistics systems engineering company.
By combining HEROZ’s unique AI technology, which it has cultivated through shogi AI and other projects, with APT’s on-site logistics knowledge, the two companies aim to solve issues in the logistics industry, such as labor shortages and increasingly complex operations.
As part of the business alliance, the two companies will begin development of a next-generation warehouse automation system that utilizes AI, “Warehouse Cross System (WXS).” “WXS” is a comprehensive optimization solution that integrates previously separate warehouse systems in a seamless manner, improving productivity and flexibility at logistics sites and reducing TCO (total cost of ownership).

“WXS” is a next-generation warehouse automation system that integrates the functions previously handled individually by the conventional WMS (Warehouse Management System), WCS (Warehouse Control System), and WES (Warehouse Execution System), and aims to use AI to centrally manage and optimize the entire warehouse’s operations.
The logistics industry is facing emerging issues such as labor shortages, increasingly complex operations, and the need to reduce total cost of ownership (TCO).In conventional warehouse management systems, the WMS (warehouse management system), WCS (warehouse control system), and WES (warehouse execution system) are often operated separately, making it difficult to achieve overall optimization.
To address these challenges, APT, which has strengths in logistics systems engineering, and HEROZ, which has deployed AI technology in a variety of industries, collaborated to develop new solutions for warehouse operations by combining the technologies and knowledge of both companies.
