Fujisoft and ABEJA announced that they have begun a collaboration. This will promote various joint developments, such as building software development methods and tools using the AI agent of the “ABEJA Platform.”
The ABEJA Platform is an AI platform that comprehensively provides the pipeline required for continuous integration of AI. It can use the necessary infrastructure and peripheral systems in each step of the operation cycle for utilizing deep learning – “acquisition,” “accumulation,” “learning,” “deployment,” and “inference/relearning” – and can reduce labor and automate the implementation and operation of deep learning in particular.
According to Fujisoft, while there is a growing trend to utilize generative AI in software development, many of the development tools related to generative AI are made overseas, and some companies are unable to easily adopt them due to differences in development culture, while others are unable to actively use them because they do not see any benefits even after adopting them.
To solve this problem, the two companies will jointly develop AI-first software development methods and tools using the ABEJA Platform, a Japanese AI platform. By combining the ABEJA Platform with Fujisoft‘s software development technology and generative AI know-how, the companies hope to reduce the workload of advanced software development tasks that have traditionally been carried out by engineers.
Going forward, the two companies will promote joint development in a wide range of areas, including development methods and tool construction using generative AI and AI agent functions, in order to modernize the development process. In addition, they aim to utilize the know-how gained from the joint development in related areas such as test code development and test automation.
