Dentsu Digital announced on May 16th that it has launched a “Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) consulting service” to increase the opportunities for a company’s information to be cited when answering searches that utilize generative AI (artificial intelligence). As search and inquiry experiences using generative AI become more common, the service will support information design and delivery design that improves compatibility with searches using generative AI.
As generative AI becomes more widespread, the service will require GEO, a new measure for answers generated by AI, in addition to traditional SEO (search engine optimization), in order to properly reflect company information in search results. The service will provide comprehensive support for content design optimized for the information sources and output logic referenced by generative AI , data structuring, and content verification from the perspective of LLM (large-scale language model).
