AVITA Inc., a developer of services utilizing avatars and AI, is pleased to announce that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with YuShu TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. and begun collaboration.
AVITA has previously developed and provided solutions using CG avatars, such as the avatar customer service “AVACOM” and the avatar AI role-playing support service “Avatore.” Now, to enhance dialogue and service provision not only in the digital space but also in the real world, the company will begin developing and providing humanoids and physical AI (embodied AI). Through this collaboration, the two companies will combine their technologies and knowledge to accelerate the social implementation of humanoids in Japan and globally.
AVITA’s vision is to “evolve humanity through avatars,” and it has deployed DX solutions that utilize CG avatars and AI in a wide range of industries, including retail, tourism, and nursing care.

In recent years, against the backdrop of worsening labor shortages and the growing need for improved operational efficiency, expectations are rising for robots (humanoids and physical AI) that can physically move in real space, in addition to digital CG avatars.
Unitree is a robotics company that develops and manufactures cutting-edge robots, including quadrupedal robots and humanoid robots. It offers products such as the quadrupedal robots “Go2,” “B2,” and “A2,” and the humanoid robots “H1” and “G1.” Leveraging their strengths in high motor performance and control technology, these robots are being adopted around the world, primarily in research, education, and industry. In recent years, the company has also focused on the field of humanoid robots, working toward the social implementation of next-generation robots that can be used in real spaces.
Against this backdrop, the two companies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate, combining AVITA‘s AI and avatar control technology and software development capabilities with Unitree‘s hardware development expertise, with the aim of creating more advanced robotic solutions and expanding them into the global market.
