AI Storm Inc. which used to be called Gexseed has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Alibaba Cloud. The agreement was formalized during Alibaba Cloud Partner Connect 2026, a global partner event held in January. The event included a signing ceremony which made the collaboration official.
This is not just another handshake for optics. The stated goal is clear. Move AI in Japan from discussion mode to execution mode. Both companies want to focus on two things that matter in the generative AI era. Talent development and real world implementation.
The two organizations will work together to create artificial intelligence training programs which will educate future creators and professionals. The project includes workshops and educational materials which focus on AI image generation and large language models while providing content that corresponds to actual production settings instead of theoretical concepts.

On the enterprise side, the partnership will support companies from proof of concept to rollout and operations. The focus is on deployable AI tools such as image generation systems and AI agents that can actually function in day to day workflows.
The partners intend to create an artificial intelligence platform which includes model hosting and inference infrastructure and API delivery services. The team plans to develop a flexible model that meets Japanese market needs instead of using a standard global template.
