Adobe Inc. and Echigo Tokimeki Railway Co., Ltd. will hold “Enjoy Railway Photography! Making Railway Photos Easier with Generative AI!”on Monday, October 12, 2026 (national holiday). The event aims to raise awareness of safe photography manners in railway photography, and applications for 24 participants will be accepted from Tuesday, September 15 to Thursday, September 24.

In recent years, while many railway enthusiasts enjoy photography while adhering to proper etiquette, some disruptive behavior has become a problem, highlighting the need to balance the enjoyment of photography with safety and good manners. By co-hosting this event with Echigo Tokimeki Railway, we aim to deepen railway enthusiasts’ understanding of safety awareness and improved manners in railway photography through image editing experiences using cutting-edge technologies such as AI generation. We also aim to propose ways to enjoy railway photography while being considerate of the surrounding area and local communities, fostering a railway enthusiast culture that everyone can enjoy with peace of mind.
