FamilyNet Japan Inc., a Tokyo Electric Power Company Group company, and Nippon Telegraph and Telephone East Corporation signed a collaboration agreement on April 10, 2025, in order to respond to the diversification of real estate businesses such as the development of complex facilities and urban development, with FNJ acting as a liaison for real estate companies and promoting the proposals of the services of both companies and the joint development of new services.
In recent years, real estate companies have been actively promoting redevelopment and reconstruction projects in addition to the development of apartment complexes and commercial facilities. Accordingly, they are focusing on the development of complex facilities and town development that integrate multiple functions such as apartment complexes, commercial facilities, and offices. Under these circumstances, the use of digital transformation (DX) is becoming important in improving the efficiency of facility operations, strengthening customer attraction, and improving customer experience (CX).
Until now, FNJ has mainly provided services that combine “Internet” and “energy” services for apartment complexes. However, with the increase in complex development, real estate companies are demanding the provision of diverse services that go beyond “Internet” and “energy” services.

Meanwhile, NTT East has been actively promoting town development and regional revitalization efforts using ICT services, such as providing communication services, Wi-Fi, and cloud cameras to commercial facilities, tenants, and offices.
Therefore, the two companies have decided to provide NTT East‘s ICT services in addition to FNJ‘s Internet and energy services, in response to the diversifying needs of customers.
