The Web Application Vulnerability Diagnostic Service from Secure Sky Technology has gone through an update which will be in effect from January 2026. The main objective of the update is to provide faster results, more relevant information, and a better understanding of the actual building and usage of modern web systems.
The biggest shift is in how quickly and broadly risks are reported. Flash reports are no longer limited to high-risk issues only. Medium-risk vulnerabilities are now included. More importantly, reporting no longer waits until the assessment is completed. As soon as a vulnerability is detected during diagnosis, it is reported. This gives security teams earlier visibility and more time to react, instead of discovering issues after the fact.

Another key update is the addition of diagnostic options for GraphQL and WebSocket. These are not edge cases anymore. They are widely used in modern applications, yet often overlooked in standard security assessments. The GraphQL option allows checks for issues like incorrect middleware configuration. The WebSocket option enables vulnerability diagnosis for real-time communication, which was previously outside the default scope.
At a broader level, this update reflects a clear industry trend. Security diagnostics are moving away from static, delayed reporting and toward continuous, practical risk detection. The service continues to assess systems from an attacker’s perspective, but now with faster signals and better coverage of modern architectures.
