HPE is not easing into this. Five months after acquiring Juniper, it is already forcing two large networking worlds to behave like one. Aruba Networking and Juniper Networking are being pulled under a single AI-native operating model. Same AIOps backbone. Same agent-based intelligence. Same hardware path. The intent is clear. Stop making customers choose. Stop breaking workflows. Make the network act like a system, not a collection of tools.
The real shift is philosophical. Networks are no longer passive pipes. HPE is treating them like live AI surfaces. Mist’s Large Experience Model, trained on billions of real collaboration signals, is now crossing into Aruba Central. Aruba’s Agent Mesh is moving into Mist. Detection, diagnosis, and remediation are becoming shared muscle memory across platforms. Wi-Fi 7 working across both stacks quietly locks in investment protection.

On the hardware side, HPE is chasing where AI compute is going. Dense GPU clusters in data centers and inference pushed closer to the edge. The QFX5250 switch with Broadcom Tomahawk 6 is built for raw AI throughput. The MX301 router is about latency control and scale at the edge.
The NVIDIA and AMD integrations complete the picture. Ethernet is winning. Autonomous operations are becoming mandatory. HPE is positioning the network as the control layer for AI infrastructure, not background noise.
