Nippon Express has started a new logistics service for cross-border e-commerce. This service makes it easier and cheaper to deliver products to Japan from overseas. The service, part of the company’s DCX web app, makes customs clearance easier. It also streamlines import/export processes and domestic delivery. It links these services to the Nippon Express Group’s worldwide logistics network.
The launch happens as Japan’s demand for foreign goods rises. Purchases from U.S. e-commerce sites hit about 380 billion yen each year. High shipping costs and complex customs rules make it tough for international sellers and Japanese buyers. Nippon Express solves these challenges by helping overseas merchants. They can import order data. They can create shipping labels. They can also ship products to certain overseas warehouses. From there, all logistics and regulatory steps are handled centrally.

The service provides delivery and optional support. This includes support for inventory management, shipping operations, and insights based on data. AI-powered forecasts are also available. The service will start by covering shipments from North America, Europe, and South Asia. It will expand to other regions in 2026. The initiative highlights how important digital-first logistics are for global e-commerce. They help meet the increasing consumer demand in Japan.
