Toyokumo Inc. announced on the 17th that it will begin offering a new function to automatically retrieve addresses from digital addresses and fill them into a separate field by enhancing its web form creation service “FormBridge,” which works with Cybozu’s business application construction cloud “kintone.” This function can be used with any plan.
FormBridge is a service that allows you to create web forms in conjunction with kintone. Users without a kintone license can also register data to their own kintone, so it can be used for a variety of purposes, such as inquiry forms, customer and employee surveys, event registration forms, membership registration forms, and communication with external companies. In this enhancement, a new field dedicated to inputting digital addresses has been added. A digital address is an address identification code provided by Japan Post.

By reflecting the digital address field in the form and entering a 7-digit digital address in uppercase alphanumeric characters, a detailed address including the corresponding building name can be automatically obtained through Japan Post’s API and automatically reflected in other fields. This reduces the input burden on users and improves the input experience, as well as preventing manual input errors and “notation variation,” where the same address is written differently. Please note that the digital address field itself is a field that can only be used within FormBridge, so it cannot be linked to the kintone app or used in the body of an email, etc.
