Toshiba Tec Corporation will launch “Tenatria,” a tenant service for shopping centers, as an optional service for the shopping center total solution “SX-8000” on April 1, 2025.
This product will be exhibited at the Toshiba Tec booth at RETAIL TECH JAPAN 2025, which will be held at Tokyo Big Sight from March 4 to 7, 2025.
In shopping centers and other commercial facilities, tenants report their sales to developers after business hours. Reports are made by inputting settlement receipts printed from the POS system into dedicated terminals or transcribing them into paper reports after business hours, but this is often done manually, placing a heavy burden on tenant employees. Furthermore, if a reporting error occurs, data must be re-entered, increasing the workload for both tenants and developers.

“Tenatria” is a web browser service that utilizes generative AI technology to streamline tenant sales reporting. Tenatria’s employees simply register images of settlement receipts printed from POS systems after closing to the service, and generative AI will read and analyze the information, automatically entering the information necessary for sales and other reports. This reduces manual input errors and corrected reports, improving tenant work efficiency. It also has a sales confirmation function that allows smooth communication within the facility, and developers can provide feedback to tenants on the results of sales corrections and the reasons for the corrections.
Toshiba Tec will continue to expand the functions of Tenatria by adding features such as chat, push notifications and file sharing, helping to improve business efficiency and facilitate communication between shopping center tenants and developers.
